Kurt Carlson

(why exactly anbody would want to see this, I don't know... but here it is)

Who am I?
I have lived in Alaska since 1965 except for a year in Europe. Two years were spent in Anchorage, the remainder in Fairbanks. Some of my interests are: my daughter and granddaughter (family), literature (reading), linguistics, travel, education, music (listening... not creating or performing), computer theory and applications, non-competitive sports, a developing interest in wines, and more. We have lived in our house since we built it in 1986. Click once more for a favorite spot in Alaska. I have degrees in English (dual literature and writing emphasis) and Mathematics. Politically and socially I am left of center... I support ACLU, Amnesty International, Sierra Club, Greenpeace, etc., but fiscally conservative (cheap, cheap).
